How Golden Arch Dressed the Team at Ibis Restaurant — A Uniform Story Worth Telling

When a hotel brand as iconic as Ibis trusts you with outfitting their restaurant team, you know the bar is high. At Golden Arch Tailoring, we recently had the privilege of creating the complete uniform collection for ibis restaurant in Dubai, and the results speak for themselves.

First Impressions Begin with the Right Uniform

In the competitive world of hospitality, a guest’s first impression is formed long before they taste the food or sip their drink. It begins the moment a staff member walks toward them. That’s why investing in quality restaurant uniforms in Dubai isn’t just a branding decision, it’s a hospitality philosophy.

ibis understood this perfectly. Their brief to us was clear: every role should have a distinct look, every piece should be comfortable enough for a full shift, and the overall effect should communicate professionalism and warmth in equal measure.

A Different Look for Every Role

What made this project particularly exciting was the range of outfits we designed across the ibis restaurant team. From the front-of-house staff to the culinary crew, no two roles dressed alike, and that was entirely intentional.

For the reception and floor team, we created smart, polished ensembles. The men wore tailored grey waistcoats over crisp pink shirts, paired with pinstripe trousers and Oxford brogues, refined without being stiff. The women stepped out in a rich burgundy blazer and trouser set, with matching ballet flats that blended elegance with practicality. One look featured a deep burgundy vest over a white shirt with black trousers, bold yet understated, exactly what great restaurant uniforms in Dubai should be.

We didn’t forget personality, either. One standout piece was a striking amber-orange velvet blazer for a supervisory role: a confident, warm tone that commanded attention without overpowering the room.

The Kitchen Crew, Dressed to Impress

The culinary team received equal attention. We designed multiple chef uniforms, each with its own character. One chef wore a white double-breasted jacket with vibrant orange stripe detailing and red buttons, paired with a navy denim half-apron: modern, fresh, and professional. Another wore an all-black chef coat featuring hand-embroidered red roses, long-sleeved and paired with a full black apron. It was dramatic, memorable, and absolutely on-brand for a dining experience that takes food seriously.

A shorter, day-shift chef jacket in black with gold piping and copper buttons rounded out the kitchen looks, practical for the heat of service, without sacrificing style.

For maintenance and back-of-house staff, we created grey dungaree-style overalls worn over a peach polo shirt: functional, durable, and still part of a cohesive visual identity.
